Volunteering

Over the last 20 years with the help of hundreds of volunteers, the Stewards of Soquel Forest have completed a broad spectrum of activities to support the education, demonstration, research and recreation goals of the Soquel Demonstration State Forest. We currently do have have a volunteer coordinator and thus our Stewards sponsored events are limited. Please check this website periodically for future opportunities or check with the SDSF staff for what they may have available.

MBOSC

The Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz are the lead organization for SDSF trail work these days.  

​They organize approximately 3 to 4 weekend “Dig Days” each trail work season (generally, winter through spring) as well as drop in work days during the week.  Please see their website and sign up for a fun and productive way to give back to the Demo Forest.
